Culture
In communities
throughout, we are becoming culturally isolated from one another. We
view the world through our wind-shields, television screens,
and i-phones. Our
urban fabric is formed of an anonymous grid of vehicles and garage
doors with little opportunity given to consequential social
interaction and authentic empathy.
We ask, "does
the design create opportunities for meaningful social exchange and learning?"
