Since the beginning of May 2006, the Tejido Group has been working on the Master Plan for Pinetop-Lakeside. Research has included an analysis of previous studies, a thorough site analysis, user group analysis, contextual analysis, and various on-site studies of open space, built form, and environmental assets. We continued to develop alternate concepts, and presentations in June and July allowed the Tejido Group to receive specific feedback about the nodal concepts presented during the second presentation.
The Master Planning concepts presented here are a dynamic synthesis of concepts, data, feedback, and development theory principles. They are still conceptual in nature, and allow flexibility for further consideration and adaptation by the town council and Pinetop-Lakeside residents.
